My name is Robert and I live in Camarillo, CA with my wife and son. I am a Scientific Recruiter at AppleOne in Thousand Oaks. I attended UCSD for my undergrad. I grew up in Long Beach and West Covina. I enjoy many activities including: biking, running, swimming, hiking, jui-jitsu, snowboarding, scuba diving and traveling. As of the past few months I haven’t been able to resume these activities, but I have been enjoying spending time with my wife, son, and our friends and families this summer.
Hi Robert! Thanks for sharing your story with the brain tumor community.
Dear Robert,
I, live in Ventura, California. I, too, was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. My treatment is taking place through Cedars-Sinai.
I wanted to know if I could talk with you about it. I would also like to know if there are any support groups that you are involved with.
Your wife and son are beautiful. I have a 17- year- old son named Mac and a wife named Kathleen and a dog named Kuma.
Thank you in advance for your time,
Jeff Gordon
Jeff,
Thank you for your post. I’m sorry I am contacting you late. I haven’t been updating or looking at my blog in a while. I am sending you an email right now so we can communicate.
I would recommend the UCLA Brain Tumor Conference for you and your family. It’s on May 9th and 10th. You can meet with neurosurgeons at the conference to get a 2nd opinion.
Hi.. Never did I hear about brain cancer until it came into my home. My husband was diagnose with glioblastoma (Gbm) grade 3 at the age of 27 back in sep 2013. We’re doing this race in his honor. About 16 of us have enter as well as my husband.. I hope we get to meet on saturday.
I’m glad we got to meet at the 5K. I read your story on the blog site you forwarded. I’m happy to see that you have had a lot of support throughout your experience.
